How did you layout/transfer the hole placement from the bearing onto the aluminum angle? That’s my last key thing. Did you just have to measure and then transfer?!

I am using a DeWalt router and plunge base, but it will not plunge below the 3/4” plywood in order to cut anything. Any suggestions?

That’s iron. You need to call out a treatment and filtration expert to test your water, this isn’t normal.

Not every well is like this. Not all city water is clear and clean. The majority of well water is good. The majority of city water is chemical and sediment ridden.

Looks like your well is deeper than it needed to be. Apparently you can blow right past the water table if you drill too fast and end up super low with lots of iron.

Your house needs to filter it out. Rather than fhe City

You need a pre filtering system and a proper iron treatment and possibly a water softener for that kind of water.

Sulfur maybe. Home Water filters are annoying but at least you wont be drinking water that was once sewage.

Depends on the city and the well, I have both great city water in Minneapolis and great well water in northern MN, just a basic single sediment filter and its clean and very little iron taste.

It is. Id rather have a new home with a well then whatever the fuq has possibly crawled around and/or in those city pipes.

It is way better. Just fix the leak. Stop relying on the government.

Pro tip: buy a shower head with a built in water filter
